- Segregate unavoidable waste and recycle wherever possible both on site and in offices
- Salvage and re-use material arising out of demolition wherever possible

- Use low energy external lighting where practical
- Use water efficient appliances in our new homes
- Help to prevent flooding by on-site soakage or storage of surface water
- Use local materials and workforce wherever possible
- Design for safety and security
- Inform the whole workforce of what we are trying to achieve
