Christmas Move in the Snow

Woodstock Homes is building just twenty, high specification, four bedroom homes at Grant's Meadow, on the outskirts fo the village of Tongwynlais, near Cardiff. With views of Castell Coch which looks down from its dramatic hillside location over the Taff Gorge and river, the M4 and the road into Cardiff.

Dominic and Kathryn Eggbeer, who are the latest purchasers to move into Grant's Meadow, were married at Castle Coch in 2006 having lived in the village since 2004. They love cycling and walking with their daughter and dog along the Taff Trail, which is along side the development.

The four bedroomed family house which they have just moved into, has good size bedrooms, which can fit a double bed in each, the master bedroom has its own en-suite bathroom and a good size main bathroom on the upstairs floor. Downstairs has a large spacious lounge, and a separate dining room. A good size fully fitted kitchen with separate utitlity room, a downstairs toilet and a large garage.

Dominic said of their new home,

"The plot size, good design and quality build combined with excellent location is absolutely fantastic, compared with other new builds in Radyr that we looked at. We are very happy to be in our new WoodstockHome after a potentially difficult move during the recent heavy show.   Woodstock Homes were extrememly accommodating, letting us move in over a weekend to spread the load."

Kathryn added,

"After a few weeks to settle in, we are now enjoying the house and garden and making it our own."

Tongywnlais is almost at the crossroads fo the M4 at J32 and the A470 but also on tthe Taff Trail, which offers a quiet route from the buzz of Cardiff Bay to Brecon. So it's a great spot if you like living in a small community but want to have easy access to city life, national road and rail links, and trips abroad from Cardiff International Airport.

The village has its own primary school, two pubs, a post office and a fish and chip shop, and is just a short drive from a choice of superstores, a selection of nursery and secondary schools, doctors and dentists and a miultiplex cinema, and Cardiff city centre just five miles away.
