Connell's Press Release - December 2008

One home a week sold at Kingfisher Court

Having sold six houses in six weeks at Woodstock Homes’ Kingfisher Court development in Fishpool Hill, Bristol, selling agents Connells are warning that time is running out for anyone who wants to buy a luxury family home on the first phase there.

“The sales rate at Kingfisher Court proves that, contrary to all the doom and gloom reports about the property market, there is plenty of demand for new homes and they are selling as long as they are the right product at the right price,” says Paul Matthews, manager of Connells Westbury on Trym branch. “With its fantastic location and superb specification, it is no surprise that this is probably the top selling site in North West Bristol.”

The fourteen homes at Kingfisher Court are tucked away in a cul du sac down a quiet country road and yet are just minutes from Cribbs Causeway and the motorway network. The beautiful four bedroom semi detached houses offer traditional family accommodation with a separate living and dining room and an en-suite shower room to the main bedroom as well as a bathroom. The kitchen/breakfast room has a ceramic tiled floor and integrated appliances including a range cooker. Amongst the many “extras” offered as standard are oak doors, quality ironmongery and a burglar alarm system. Each home has a generous patio area, a turfed front and rear garden, and a garage with power, light and a remote controlled up and over door as well as additional parking space.

“One of the main attractions of Kingfisher Court has undoubtedly been the fact that it falls within the South Gloucestershire Education Authority and the catchment area of the popular Marlwood School in Alveston. It is also just a couple of minutes walk away from a primary school and nursery,” says Paul Matthews. “Locally there’s shops, dentists, doctors and leisure facilities but it’s also very convenient for Bristol City Centre.”

Prices for the remaining homes on phase 1 at Kingfisher Court start at £250,000 and Woodstock Homes is currently offering a range of incentives which could include part exchange. However, with the properties selling so well even in a traditionally quiet period, Connells are warning anyone interested in buying there to get in touch as soon as possible before the expected New Year surge in activity.

For further information on availability and incentives, and to make arrangements to visit the show home, contact Connells Westbury on Trym office on 0117 950 1552.
