Horfield – The Local Area

Tucked away at the end of a quiet cul de sac, Kelston Mews offers the ideal combination wherever you are on the housing ladder; a location that’s convenient for local amenities and access to the city centre and nationwide.

Just yards from Southmead Hospital, Kelston Mews is surrounded by mature properties on gently sloping land. Southmead Hospital is close to Kelston Mews, making these new homes ideal for hospital staff as well as people keen to be near, but not in central Bristol.

Being so near central Bristol, the area benefits from Canford Park, Filton and Henbury Golf Clubs, a David Lloyd tennis club and gym, the Bristol School of Gymnastics and the UWE Centre for Sport. The Horfield Leisure Centre offers swimming, squash, badminton, a gym and creche so you can stay in shape easily.

Local family friendly pubs include the Beehive and The Post Office Tavern.

The Mall, Cribbs Causeway, offering over 170 major retail stores, is just 10 minutes away from Kelston Mews.

  • Car: The M4 / M5 are 10 minutes away providing easy access to Cardiff, Swindon, London and beyond
  • Buses: Wessex Connect, South Glos and Bristol all run regular bus services through the area
  • Trains: The nearest train stations are Bristol Parkway and Bristol Temple Meads. Both offer excellent links to London, Birmingham, Cardiff and Devon and Cornwall
  • Airports: Bristol Airport is less than and hour away and provides links to most of Europe.

Latest Update on the Build

The build started in August 2011 and these homes will be available for occupation from April 2012. The show home will be ready to view in March 2012.
