Local information about Bedminster

Granby Mews - The Local Area

If you’re new to Bristol, the first thing to know is that Bedminster has been changing dramatically in recent years.

The arrival of a younger generation has been mirrored by the opening of a comedy club, a theatre, and smart cafes and restaurants. They’ve all combined with a wide selection of traditional shops to create a lively cocktail for modern living. Add the well-established primary school and it’s no wonder the area appeals to young families.

Schools

Within the ward of Bedminster are several primary schools including Ashton Vale Primary School, Compass Point- South St School & Childrens Centre, Luckwell Primary School and Parson Street Primary School

The city of Bristol offers a further range of education options that are easily accessible through public transport.
